When a 23 level building at 55 Clarence Street, Sydney CBD found their fire panel was becoming hard to manage and experiencing re-occuring issues, Rassco was asked to rectify the problem. The fire panels faults were resulting in a number of call outs for the NSW Fire Brigade. Interface problems with smoke control systems were also becoming troublesome.
Rassco installed a new fire panel and a new system of interface modules, smoke detectors, and cabling throughout the building. The system now works effectively with a fully functional fire system that is certified every year.
“Rassco worked in partnership with building operations management to minimize disruption to tenants” said Glenn Ferrier – building facilities manager of Knight Frank.
